A team that stands behind the idea of building a zipline across the canyon of the Tara river consists of experienced members of The Mountain Rescue Service, experts for the Durmitor mountain, and primarily extreme sports lovers. Design, construction, and installation of the system were performed by construction experts and those with years of experience working with cable cars and ski lifts.

Frequently Asked Questions

What months is Zip Line operating?

From 1st of May until 1st of October — every day. During April and October, working days depend on weather conditions. Closed November-March.

What are age limits?

Our youngest visitor was two years old. Kids up to 7-8 years old ride with an adult (someone they came with or one of our instructors).

What are the weight limits?

Weight limits are flexible. The upper limit depends on the wind and varies between 110 and 130 kg.

Do we have to book the ride?

Booking is not required — just show up during working hours. For big groups (10+ people), send us a message to minimize waiting time.

Is there parking near the start?

Yes, there is a free parking area just across the street from the Zip Line starting point.

How do we get back after the ride?

There is a walk over the bridge (350 meters) which takes about 10 minutes.

What are the busy hours?

During high season (July & August), crowds are possible between 1 PM and 3 PM, but the wait is no longer than a few minutes.

Is it safe?

YES. The whole project is designed and made under the supervision of construction engineers. Cables have more than 10 metric tons of breaking load.

Does it operate in bad weather?

Yes, if it's just light rain. If there's a heavy storm, just wait for it to pass.

Can we fly in pairs?

For Red Rock you can fly on two lines at the same time.
