Frequently Asked Questions

Is Packrafting dangerous?

Pack Rafting starts only when water conditions are maximally safe. When the water is high, as in early spring, we might go but only with people with previous experience.

Do I have to be a swimmer?

Yes, basic swimming skills are required. Even with a life vest and full safety equipment, you must be able to swim to shore in calm sections. Capsizing is part of the packrafting experience. Our guides will always be close by.

Can I swim in the Tara River?

Sure. During the tour, we stop at the most beautiful place for swimming and cliff jumping, and you will have a wetsuit to protect you from cold.

What should I bring?

A swimsuit or dry underwear to change after the tour, a bag for your dry clothes, and a towel.

Will the tour be cancelled if it rains?

In case of light rain, the tour is on. We delay only in case of a heavy storm.

Will it be cold?

We provide 3mm long pants, 3mm jacket, and neoprene shoes to keep you at optimum temperature.

Can we pay by card?

Yes, but sometimes internet reception in the canyon is not good. Cash is preferred.
