Highlights
Route story
Riding Above the Bay of Kotor
Vrmac Hill rises between Kotor Bay and Tivat Bay, and its ridge is laced with historic military roads built by the Austro-Hungarian Empire more than a century ago. These wide, well-graded forest roads make for extraordinary cycling — shaded by mature trees, quiet, and with constant glimpses of the glittering bay below.
The Vrmac Hill & Boka Bay eBike Tour follows these roads on a full suspension eBike, rising above the coastal towns and into the cool forest that covers the hill's flanks.
Coastal Forests and Bay Views
The tour is rated easy — the terrain is smooth and the electric assist handles any gradient effortlessly. What makes it special is the constant visual reward: through the forest, the bay appears again and again, a panorama of blue water surrounded by grey limestone mountains that is one of the most photographed views in the entire Mediterranean.
Based in Tivat, this tour is ideal for visitors staying on the coast who want an eBike experience without the drive to Durmitor. Half a day on Vrmac delivers mountain cycling in a coastal setting that is uniquely Montenegrin.
