Route story
Durmitor's Greatest Landmarks by eBike
The UNESCO Protected Areas eBike Tour is the most accessible eBike experience we offer. The entire route follows smooth asphalt roads — no gravel, no singletrack, no off-road sections. It's designed for anyone who wants to cover meaningful ground and see the area's most iconic landscapes without any technical cycling demands.
Both major highlights of this tour — the Tara Canyon and Black Lake — are UNESCO World Heritage listed sites, sitting within Durmitor National Park.
A Smooth Ride Through Protected Landscapes
The Tara Canyon is the deepest canyon in Europe and one of the longest in the world. Riding along the rim road, with the gorge dropping away more than a kilometer below, is an experience that photographs can barely capture. Black Lake needs no introduction — Durmitor's most photographed location, set in a bowl of dark forest beneath the main massif.
On a hard-tail eBike on asphalt, both destinations feel effortlessly close. This tour is perfect for families, older riders, or anyone who simply wants a relaxed half-day of cycling in extraordinary surroundings.
